Profile

A computer scientist deeply interested in multifaceted problem-solving, software engineering, and geospatial data science. Experienced with government-backed grant-funded research projects. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, project management, a keen eye for detail, all backed by a strong work ethic. Currently engaged in leveraging geospatial data to build the foundations of global supply chain predictive models and the next generation of U.S. water resource datasets. Open to relocation.

Work Experience

Research Software Engineer @ Northern Arizona University

Continuing with the FEWSION Project while also working as technical lead on a U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) grant to develop the next generation of U.S. water resource data products.

  • Constructed complex Cypher queries in Neo4j to calculate and analyze transitive flow distributions and supply chain analytics.
  • Implemented a data fusion pipeline using FastAPI and beanie, ingesting and fusing data from multiple sources, placing results and maintaining data parity across PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.
  • Adapted and refined a Keras/TensorFlow deep learning spatial disaggregation pipeline, reducing processing time while improving model accuracy.
  • Researched datasets and algorithms for 5 computational hydrology and machine learning scientific manuscripts, slated for scientific journal submissions across 2026 and 2027.

Research Intern @ Northern Arizona University

Working within the FEWSION Project aiding in the development of the world’s most comprehensive global supply chain database.

  • Constructed data pipelines to pull existing global and subnational geographical boundaries, algorithmically correct errors or discrepancies, and output “clean” boundaries, using GeoPandas and Shapely.
  • Designed, implemented and tested REST APIs for PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases using FastAPI, SQLAlchemy/beanie, and pytest.
